Job Overview – Accounting Clerk – 34526

Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a temporary 2–3 month assignment supporting their corporate accounting team. Following a recent transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), the team needs additional support to address a backlog of invoices and purchase orders.

This is a great opportunity for someone with basic accounting or administrative accounting experience who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and can help keep daily accounting processes organized and up to date. D365 experience is a plus, but the ability to learn quickly, follow established procedures, and consistently deliver accurate work is most important.

• Assist with processing and sending customer invoices.
• Create and enter purchase orders in the accounting system.
• Help clear a backlog of invoices and purchase orders following the D365 implementation.
• Review information for accuracy and completeness before processing.
• Maintain organized records and ensure accounting documentation is properly handled.
• Work closely with the Corporate Accounting Manager and accounting team to complete assigned tasks.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, or general office accounting preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting procedures and financial documentation.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP/accounting system is a plus.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, professional, and able to follow through on assigned responsibilities.
