Job Description

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee a team of 25+ phlebotomists across Patient Service Centers and physician offices in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves staffing, scheduling, operational management, and direct patient interaction on a Monday-Friday 8am-5pm basis with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team of 25+ phlebotomists and manage daily operations
• Coordinate scheduling, monitor productivity, and manage inventory levels
• Hire, train, and conduct performance appraisals for phlebotomy staff
• Handle payroll, employee relations, and disciplinary matters with HR support
• Resolve patient and client issues; perform phlebotomy as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years supervisory or leadership experience with direct reports
• 5+ years phlebotomy experience
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• At least 21 years old
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
